Will shaving your face make the hair grow back thicker? π€
@annaytime π One comment I've been seeing a lot lately is: "If I dermaplane my face, won't my peach fuzz grow back thicker and darker?" β£β£ And the answer is it won't! :) β£β£ Shaving doesn't "cause" any hair we have on our body to grow back thicker but it can look that way since shaving can leave a blunt tip at the base of your hair follicle which can make it LOOK thicker, but it's not. Our peach fuzz is usually so fine you can't see the hair or follicle, so even if it leaves a "blunt tip", it's not visibly noticeable. β£β£ The only two places I've seen my hair grow back "thicker" on my face are my eyebrows and sideburns, which I've only dermaplaned by accident. And this makes sense because these hairs are typically much darker than our peach fuzz and closer to shade and thickness of our natural hair color. If you want to get rid of the hair here and not deal with visible follicle tips, waxing is the way to go. β£β£ So don't worry about dermaplaning your peach fuzz! It's NOT going to come back thicker or darker ππΌ β£β£ ππΌ Let me know if you have any more #dermaplaning questions in the comments below! β£β£ #dermaplaning #skincaretips #faceshaving #faceshavingwomen #faceshavingbenefits #dermaplane #annaytime #skincare101 #skincaretips101 β¬ She Share Story (for Vlog) - ε±±ε£ε€δΎ
