@annaytime 🧧 If you're in the Bay Area, you gotta check out Sunday Bakeshop and their epic Lunar New Year box! I love how they incorporate classic Asian flavors with iconic European pastry formats like the Char Siu Danish, which is probably my favorite pastry ever. Sweet, salty, and umami pork belly on a bed of sauteed cabbage surrounded by flaky and buttery layers. Other favorites include the Butter Mochi (Nian Gao) cake which tastes so rich and chewy, a perfectly constructed croissant with subtly sweet flavors of coconut, red bean, and almond pandan, and a light éclair with the most airy black sesame cream inside. Everything in this box hits and I'm definitely ordering another box to celebrate Lunar New Year with my family!
