Scalp Exfoliation💦
@annaytime 💆🏻♀️ Here's my updated weekly #scalpexfoliation routine! This was a week where I had a lot of excess sebum, flakes, and buildup in my scalp so I did both a chemical & physical exfoliation. Normally, I like doing just a chemical exfoliation, but for those times where my scalp feels really gross, adding on a physical exfoliation on top really helps clear everything out. My favorite scalp exfoliator is #TheOrdinary Glycolic Toning Exfoliator but #theInkeyList also has two great options for scalp chemical exfoliants that are very close in price to the Ordinary. Lately, I've been loving the #Kerastase Symbiose line since it's formulated with one of my favorite skincare ingredients, Salicylic Acid. Not only great for clogged pores and loosening oil on the face, it's great for the scalp as well. The Kerastase Symbiose Scalp Scrub is not as abrasive as some other scalp scrubs out there even though it's called a "scrub". It has a clear gel texture with tiny exfoliating beads and gently cleanses without stripping my scalp. Along with my scalp exfoliation, I love pairing it with either a pre-wash hair mask or oil. My usual choice is the #Shiseido Fino Hair Mask but since I'm out, the #OGX Coconut Oil is a great alternative! Super rich and hydrating oil (so rich I can only use it as a pre-wash oil as it's easy to overuse post-wash and end up with greasy hair 🙈) Let me know if you have any questions! Would you try exfoliating your scalp? #theinkeylist #annaytime #scalpcare #scalphealth #scalptreatment #scalpcleanse #hairtipsandtricks #scalpproblems ♬ original sound - annaytime
