How I keep my hormonal acne in check ✅
@annaytime ⚖ My skin was in a very different place earlier this year mostly due to my gut microbiome being the most off balance it has ever been in my life. I had to temporarily cut out both coffee and gluten from my diet since they started to cause me acne, which was so difficult 😭 Luckily, I've started working with a qualified nutritionist who has helped put me on a regimen of two probiotics to help heal my gut imbalance and my skin has improved significantly! (And I've been able to incorporate coffee and gluten back in my diet again without breakouts! 🙌🏼) I've been taking both Metagenics UltraFlora Restore and Microbiome Labs MegaSporeBiotic for the past two months and they both have been incredibly effective at replenishing my gut bacteria with the good bacteria it needed after taking a round of antibiotics. I've seen a significant reduction in my breakouts in addition to being more regular with my digestion and feeling less bloated.
