@annaytime ☀ This might be a record for the most sunscreen I've applied on myself in one day 😆 but I had to since we were out all day and the Hawaii sun does NOT mess around (my husband got the WORST sunburn the next day)! Our hike at Volcanoes National Park was so gorgeous and felt absolutely unreal, but I felt disgusting after such a long and sweaty hike, so I did a quick double cleanse before doing my last application so we could hit up the lagoon at our hotel (after weeks of Bay Area rain, we wanted to get as much sun as possible in Hawaii!) It's always okay to do a double cleanse break (if you have access to a sink / want to) during the middle of a full day outside if you're feeling like the sunscreen re-application is getting too heavy and gross.
